After several areas of France, unidentified flying objects now fly over the sky of the Ardennes. At least that is what one might think, if one believes several testimonys worthy of faith coming from residents of Rimogne, and not the least of them.
Indeed Tuesday evening towards 10:30 p.m., Mr. Petit, mayor of the community and General Counselor, saw a kind of oval disc diffusing an orange, gleam, motionless in the sky, in the west of Rimogne. After having remained on the spot during ten minutes, the object moved away little by little from the community before disappearing at the horizon.
Mr. Petit went at once to the gendarmerie where he discussed with chief L'Henoret, to whom he made a formal statement, besides. But it this is not all.
Yesterday towards 03:30 p.m., Mrs. Hachelas, who lives at the exit of Rimogne at the edge of the road RN 51, was on her doorstep when, looking up, she saw in her turn a suspicious object, some sort of cigar of whitish color that hovered motionless right above the community. Mrs. Hachelas at once sent her son to alert the gendarmes who came to join her equipped with binoculars.
The representatives of the law could also examine the unidentified object without managing to find its nature. According to one of the gendarmes, it could nevertheless be a matter of a cloud because of the blurred aspect of its contours and its color. But, disconcerting fact, the object remained motionless during some twenty minutes, before moving and disappearing.
At the present tome the various witnesses refuse to make any additional statement. But perhaps will we know one day the origin of these phenomena, who knows?
