London. -- The mysterious death of fifteen ponies in Cornwall, in the south-west of England, would be attributable to UFOs, estimated yesterday the president of a British club specialized in the study of unidentified flying objects.
The bodies of the animals were discovered lying close to each other in a small valley in the Cornish moors... They had broken bones and ribs, and one of them had a broken neck. In addition, the flesh had decomposed faster than usual, leaving only the skeletons.
The club president, who is investigating the area, believes the ponies were crushed by the antigravity field of a flying saucer. Similar cases, linked to the passage of UFOs, would have been reported in the United States.
Armed with Geiger counters, metal detectors and face coverings, the president and three aides scour the countryside for any trace of possible aliens.
