The article below was published in the daily newspaper La Marne, France, on October 13, 1977.
For the second time in less than eight days, UFOs were observed in the sky of Nemours.
This time it was Mr. and Mrs. Catillon, residing in the Square des Bruyères, in Saint-Pierre-les-Nemours, who witnessed this curious phenomenon.
In particular, they told the inspectors of the police station: "On Saturday, October 1, at around 10:00 p.m., we noticed two oval-shaped craft flying in the north-south direction."
"The two very luminous craft turned around above Saint-Pierre."
"Then they disappeared.
"Five minutes later, another low-flying, oval-shaped object came to rest over R.N. 7."
"We were able to distinguish four to five portholes behind which we could very clearly see red and white lights."
"The craft stayed there for about two minutes, then turned back in the direction of Fontainebleau."
