New York, July 7. -- The mystery of the "flying saucers" is by no means cleared up, and there are reports of new appearances of these strange meteors of which no one so far has seen a single specimen up close.
So far, the flying discs have been seen in 38 states in the Union, as well as in Washington, and even in Canada. Twelve states and southwestern Ontario, Canada, claimed the honor of a visit to the fabulous machines yesterday.
A woman from Hagerstown, Maryland claims to have seen five of them heading east at extraordinary speed with the sound of a "train running in the distance".
Sainte-Marie (Idaho), July 7. -- We learn that eight "flying saucers" would have landed on the side of a mountain ten kilometers from Sainte-Marie. This fact is not yet officially confirmed. According to several inhabitants these "saucers" would be the size of a house and crossed the sky at a very high speed.
