FOIX (C.P.). -- Yesterday, at 5:00 p.m., Miss Patricia Monin, 19, living in the Hospitalet, was coming down from the Pas-de-la-Case with her parents when the family's attention was drawn to "La Croisade," at the intersection of R. N. 20 and 20 bis, by a luminous object of impressive size, of red and black color, motionless in the sky.
Miss Patricia Monin had the happy idea of fixing this unusual object on the film, but when she took the photo, the mysterious object immediately rose vertically at an extraordinary speed, to finally disappear.
This phenomenon was also seen by tourists passing by and in particular by Mr. and Mrs. Roger, from Esperanza.
Also, a few days ago, a peacekeeper from the Foix police, passing through the pass, witnessed the same phenomenon at roughly the same location.
