The Burlington version of the Flying Disc is on display in the show window of Carl's Tog Shop. It is alleged to be one similar to the one that Captain Robert J. Southey, of the Burlington C. A. P. squadron, saw while flying north of Elkhorn.
It is a silver colored disc with louvres around the edge resembleing jet exhaust stacks. Perched on top is a version of the Man from Mars. A silver mist hangs over the disc.
Carl Rubach said that he constructed the disc from Capt. Southey's description.
