Other craft maneuver in the sky over Vernon (Eure)

Evreux. -- Several people claim to have clearly seen, around one o'clock in the morning, on the night from Sunday to Monday, above Vernon (Eure), an elongated red object resembling a large cigar. According to their statements, this object remained motionless at a rather low altitude. Total silence prevailed.

From this strange craft a flying saucer detached itself, shaped like an oval disc, dark in color, topped with a red dome and surrounded by a very bright halo with flames.

The flying saucer separated from the cigar, falling vertically, then seemed to attempt horizontal flight above the bridge. It banked, climbed, and disappeared suddenly. It was immediately replaced by another. This strange carousel is said to have lasted three quarters of an hour.
