A man from Louhans saw a flying saucer on the ground

Sightings of flying saucers are becoming more and more frequent and seem to have gone beyond the stage of a joke. Credible testimonies from people located very far from one another are multiplying and agree in a troubling overall consistency.

Now Louhans is in the news in this saucer affair.

After the many people who saw them in flight in our region with the characteristics now known to them, one of our fellow citizens has just stated that he observed a craft on the ground.

The latter, Mr. Emile Nicolas, a bicycle dealer on Rue des Bordes, did not believe at all in "flying cigars" or other craft of the same kind. He changed his mind during the night from last Saturday to Sunday, around 2:30 a.m.

Mr. Nicolas, who works both at night and during the day, also gave us the following account of what he saw:

"As I usually do when I test a machine I have just repaired, I had gone as far as the Barque of the scooter place. While turning around, I noticed [?] very low in the sky, a [?] very [?] that was descending vertically and that landed in a meadow located between the railway line and the road, about fifty meters in front of me.

I stopped to observe the craft which, as soon as it was on the ground, emitted through two small oval openings a very bright yellowish light.

Nothing moved, and I remained still, watching for at least two minutes the craft, which may have had a span of 8 meters. The underside was cylindrical and the top slightly curved.

I did not dare approach, but when I started my engine to go and fetch Mr. Rodot, from Frontenaud, whom I had left at the workshop, the craft rose again very quickly vertically and its lights went out.

I returned to the spot with Mr. Rodot, but we saw nothing more.”

Afraid of being taken for a joker, Mr. Nicolas only shared his observation with a few people close to him... but the news has since spread, and now the whole town is talking about it.
