The article below was published in the daily newspaper France-Soir, Paris, France, on March 8, 1974.
Three U.F.O.s. in the Charente sky: a scarlet ball observed in Mansle by Mr. Jean-Pierre Véron, P.T.T. attendant, a very bright yellow ball noticed in Villognon by Mrs. Micheline Bernard and a silent luminous object seen in Villebois-Lavalette by a high school student, Jean Ewu. Three other objects were seen in Lorraine, in Briey, Metz and Petite-Rosselle (an elongated pen); in the Gers, between Miélan and Saujal (a lamp with a swinging motion), and in Normandy, near Boissey (a very luminous green craft).
