CALAIS, Wednesday.
A U.F.O. (unidentified flying object) is said to have crossed the sky of the Pas-de-Calais last weekend. It is what two witnesses claim, however distant one of the other of a hundred kilometers, but whose reports perfectly agree.
One of these witnesses, known administrator of companies in Calais, was driving by car, in the night from Sunday to Monday. Whereas he was in the south of the city, his attention was drawn by two luminous points flying close to the ground. They evolved through fields before crossing the road, at a with five meters height. This witness claims that thanks to the moonlight, he managed to observe the lengthened and glowing shape, similar to a submarine's hull.
The day before, another motorist, construction site foreman, had declared to the gendarmes, in Vimy, that around 3 o'clock in the morning, in Saint-Laurent-Blangy, close to Arras, it had seen an object flying above the car at a low height. The description that he gave corresponded to that of the witness of Calais.
