Chetwynd's mystery object was back again Thursday and it is still a mystery. A large number of school students saw the object and reported it to the school office where teachers went out to have a look too.
Descriptions varied widely. Students at the Reporter office compared it with the size of an industrial hard hat at 15 feet or a quarter at arms length and going from north-east to south-west.
The school office reported that the object was, "shiny, very high and fairly fast" and that it was in sight for 3 or 4 minutes going from east to west.
The Jaycees' president said it was a Jaycee missile from Prince George.
