Residents of Nashville See the Object Supposed to Have Mystified Kansas and Nebraska
Nashville, Ill., April 5 – What appeared to be a balloon, but what most people who saw it think was the mysterious air ship of Kansas and Nebraska, passed over this city about 8 o'clock this evening. It appeared in the northwest as a large red light. And as it approached the city a dark outline was faintly discerned. The fact that the object traveled from the northwest while the wind was from the southeast goes to prove it was not a balloon.
