From his computer desk in Taiwan, Scott C. Waring, who had a blog or "UFO Sightings Daily" where he publishes numerous posts about UFO sighting reports he picks up on other website, or his own "discoveries" of "aliens" in pictures, thought he discovered an alien face of asteroid Ryugu on a picture taken on August 6, 2018.
He posted an enlarged, cropped and colorized picture of the "alien face with a mask" and soon his "discovery" was annouced on the usual crakpots blogs all over the world.

Japan has a space exploration mission near this asteroid, and they posted mission images of the asteroid on the web.

It is pretty obvious to me that Scott C. Waring, webmaster of the "UFO Sightings Daily" blog, as usual, sees "aliens" everywhere. Here, this is just a prominent part of an asteroid, which looks vaguely like an elongated "head". As a "UFO sighting", it's hardly worth more than when people see the head of "Jesus" in their pizza...
All this is unfortunately typical of the abysses of ridicule that have been growing in recent years on the Internet, now that "blogs" and "social networks" easily allow everyone to pose as expert, or to copy the nonsense of others.
