Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

In June 2007, a Brazilian artist let appear on a blog, some texts and two videos of a "Captive Gray Alien", indicating that it was a fictional work.

The thing is however still publicized in 2009 by authors of so-called "ufology" website as if it were a true video or a "possibly" true video.

"DocLottaLove" publishes "UFO videos" and "alien videos" on various video hosting websites, such as at:

One finds this video there claimed to by an "Captured Gray Alien", presented as a "true" video:

The website takes the video from "DocLottaLove" ([dl1]) as a ufology news and wonders whether it is a " Capture of a small gray extraterrestrial?"

Points to consider:

This video, headlined "The Captivates Gray Alien", initially appeared on March 8, 2008 on the Brazilian blog "Mondo Gump" (Gump's World), with this very clear comment:

"ESTE MATERIAL E UMA OBRA FICCIONAL"

("This material is a work of fiction").

The video was thus never a hoax, and never a video of an alien being.

The blog also published the photograph of the mannequin which had been used:

The effect of eyes blinking can be obtained by lighting the black and shining eyes of the mannequin with a simple flashlight, which one briefly turns off or away to create the illusion of the blinking.

The video was hosted on Youtube. A second video followed with the title "The Captive Gray Alien 2", this time entirely executed on computer, with a long story of a so-called "agent" involved in the capture of the alien entitled "The story of a MIB - Part 2". A certain "Philip", who is Philipe Kling David, a Brazilian artist and the author of at least parts of the saga, announced that he intended to publish 6 parts, but that he gave up because the affair caused too much noise.

In the videos, the sound of the voice, not very understandable, allows to hear two people speaking in Brazilian Portuguese. One of them threatens the so-called alien, " fala, fala, filho da puta, have mandei você falar", i.e. "Speaks, speaks, son of a b... I want that you speak ", the other laughs when the peuso-alien ends up answering in Brazilian Portuguese gibberish.

The whole was copied numerous times by other websites people, including in 2008-2009 by "DocLottaLove" who pasted his own name as "source" over the video. He and followers thus "resurected" this story known to be a fiction, publicizing it for a "true" or "possible" video of an extraterrestrial being.
