A married mother having three children of 2, 3, and 13 year-old contacted an ufologist by email. She said she lives within 40 miles in the west of Wilder, Owyhee County, Idaho, the USA, and reports experiences that occurred in the night of July 9, 2007.
The family slept in the farm's house. Towards 01:00 a.m. the 2-year-old girl woke up, criying. At 02:00 a.m. the 3 year-old girl woke up in tears. Their mother or their father put them to sleep again.
After that, the fire alarm started, very close to the main bedroom. The woman and her husband turned it off, it had fortunately not awaked the children.
Everyone fell asleep again, and after that the woman heard voices of men speaking in English and noises of steps down the hall. She could not move, she was apparently paralyzed and says that she just "knew" that "they" were going to grab her arm very soon.
She woke up her husband and he inspected all the house, and found nothing. The dogs had not reacted either. The next day morning, when all were up, her husband discovered a very strong ammonia odor in an area of the kitchen and they did not find its cause.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue:
48. Location. 40 miles west of Wilder, Owyhee County, Idaho Date: July 9 2007 Time: night The main witness and her 3 daughters were sleeping in their rural farm house, her 3 daughters range from 2yrs-3yrs and 13 years old. At approximately 1.00am the youngest daughter woke up crying. At 2:00am the 3yr woke up crying. After getting them back to sleep, the fire alarm went off right near the master bedroom. The witness and her husband shut the alarm and fortunately it did not wake up the children. After they all went back to sleep, the witness heard men’s voices (in English) and footsteps coming down the hall. She could not move, she was apparently paralyzed and she just ‘knew” that they were going to grab her arm at any second. She was able to wake her husband up and he checked all around the house, and nothing was found. The dogs did not react either. The next morning when they all got up her husband discovered a very strong smell of ammonia in one area of the kitchen. They were unable to locate the source. HC addendum Source: direct from dsc731@cableone.net Type: E? Comments: Did the witness and her family experience some kind of visitation? What woke up her daughters? Maybe hypnotic regression can help in this case. |
The woman shows all the signs of an episode of hypnagogic hallucination, also called "sleep paralysis", a very ordinary trouble of the sleep; no extraterrestrial being neither were seen anyway in this experience.
The events noticed in addition such as an ammonia odor or the fact that the young girls woke up in the night do not have any reason for being allotted to extraterrestrial visitors nor anything abnormal.
Hypnotic regression sessions would almost certainly result to some account based on extraterrestrial beings, but without any means of ensuring that they were true visits by aliens and not forgotten memories of dreams based on aliens, or memories of science-fiction movies or TV shows, such as everyone can experience; it is for this sort of reason that serious ufologists recommend not to use such technniques, dangerous techniques insofar that they enforce upon the "witnesses" the belief that they were confronted to alien visitors whereas nothing in hypnosis techniques is fit to establish this as real or not.
