Apparently, the Argentine national newspaper La Razon for January 8, 1983 reported alleged facts said to have occurred on January 2, 1983, in Chillan, in Chile, during the night.
Chilean schoolteacher Sergio Baeza claimed to have seen a powerful light go down and land on the ground in a forest of the edge of Chillan.
He told that it wanted to run away, but then he felt that something prevented him to do so, as if that would have been useless, as if he instinctively knew that it would be would be useless to try.
He said that he felt the presence of extraterrestrial, without seeing them, and felt that their intention was to establish contact.
He reported that these beings asked mentally about the things he wanted to know, and answered to him using lights as signals.
He determined that their intentions are peaceful and that they wish to establish the contact with us.
Nothing else seems to be known about this case.

[Ref. bh1:] ROBERT E. BARTHOLOMEW AND GEORGE S. HOWARD:
The authors indicate that on January 2, 1983, in Chillan, Chile, at night, the Chilean schoolteacher Sergio Baeza claims telepathic communication with extraterrestrials after "a powerful light descended" and came "to rest on the ground" in a forest on the outskirts of Chillan.
He is quoted saying:
"When I thought of running away, there was something that stopped me from doing so; it was as if it was unnecessary, as if I knew that to attempt it would be useless."
He said he felt the presence of unseen aliens, and their intention was to make contact.
He is quoted saying:
"[They were] asked mentally about the things I wanted to know, and they responded by turning lights on and off in the negative or affirmative."
He determined "their intentions are peaceful" and they wish "to establish contact with us."
The authors indicate that the source is La Razon, for January 8, 1983.
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Chillan, Chile, on January 2, 1983, in the night Chilean schoolteacher Sergio Baeza claims telepathic communication with extraterrestrials after a powerful light descended and landed on the ground in the forest on the outskirts of the city. When he tried to run away, something stopped him from doing so.
He then felt a presence of unseen aliens, and their intention was to make contact. He was asked mentally about the things he wanted to know and they responded by turning lights on and off in the negative or affirmative. He determined their intentions as peaceful, and that they want it to establish contact with humans.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Robert E, Bartholomew, in UFO Lore.
It seems that there is no other source but apparently the newspaper La Razon, the source cited by Bartholomew and Howard.
