Ufologist Tor Wiklund investigated in 1980 or 1979 on a close encounter of the third kind of December 4, 1979, in Vastervik, Sweden, at 01:00 a.m.
Lilli-Ann Karlsson was taking an early morning walk in the Brevik Hills recreation area, when she was suddenly paralyzed and saw that there was a luminous object hovering above the ground ahead of her.
Two beings, five feet tall, appeared from behind the object. She said that although she could not hear it, in a strange way she sensed that they were discussing her person. She felt ridiculous in their presence, but suddenly she heard a voice beside her saying she should not be afraid.
The beings approached and one of them outstretched its hand to her, but she remained paralyzed. They talked among themselves for a while and returned to the craft, disappearing behind it as they had appeared.
Smoke came from the bottom of their craft, then, suddenly it was not there anymore.

[Ref. bh1:] ROBERT E. BARTHOLOMEW AND GEORGE S. HOWARD:
The authors indicate that on December 4, 1979, in Vastervik, Sweden, at 01:00 a.m., Lilli-Ann Karlsson was taking an early morning walk in the Brevik Hills recreation area, when she was suddenly paralyzed.
There was a luminous object hovering above the ground ahead.
A pair of five feet tall beings appeared from behind the object. She said:
"I couldn't hear it, but in a strange way I sensed that they were discussing my person. I felt ridiculous in their presence but suddenly heard a voice beside me saying I shouldn't be afraid."
They approached and one of them outstretched its hand to her, but she remained paralyzed. They talked among themselves for a while and returned to the craft, disappearing behind it as they had appeared.
Smoke came from the bottom, then suddenly it was not there.
The authors indicate that the source is the UFO Journal, of Cleveland, Ohio, issue 35 of July 1981, citing the Nyhetsblad Newsletter, Sweden, for April/September 1980, citing an investigation by Tor Wiklund who wrote a report on the case in the publication UFO-Information, of Skanninge, Sweden, issue 4, 1980.
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Vastervik, Sweden, on December 4, 1979, at 01:00 a.m., Lilli Karlsson was taking an early morning walk on the Brevik Hills when she was suddenly paralyzed. She could see a luminous object hovering close to the ground nearby.
Two five-foot tall thin humanoids appeared from behind the object.
The witness felt that they were discussing her. She heard a voice that told her not to be afraid. One approached and stretched its hand to her, but she remained paralyzed.
They talked among themselves then returned back to the object. smoke came from under the object and it disappeared.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Robert E. Bartholomew, in UFO Lore.
It is likely that ufologist Tor Wiklund, as investigator, knows more about information that is not reported in later source, where the profile and age of the witness is missing, as well as any detail about the morphology of the beings and the description of the craft, among other things.
