APRIL 12, 1979, SOMEONE:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

Introduced as an expert on matters of "Near Death Experiences" (NDE), professor Kenneth Ring reported in a 1993 book that on April 12, 1979, a woman or girl woke up in the middle of the night feeling someone's hand on her back.

She turned around to se two beings leaning over her; one held a large hypodermic syringe with a long needle; the being had a gloved hand. She attempted to resist but was pushed down gently and told by telepathy that it was useless to resist.

She noticed that the room had a soft glow and the beings wore suits designed with a series of inflated rings resembling a "Michelin Man." Next thing she remembered was seeing the beings walking out the door.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that on April 12, 1979, late in the night, a witness woke up in the middle of the night feeling someone's hand on her back. She turned around to se two beings leaning over her. One held a large hypodermic syringe with a long needle; the being had a gloved hand. The witness attempted to resist but was pushed down gently and told by mental telepathy that it was useless to resist. The witness noticed that the room had a soft glow and the beings wore suits designed with a series of inflated rings resembling a "Michelin Man." Next thing the witness remembered was seeing the beings walking out the door.

Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Kenneth Ring, PhD. "The Omega Project".

Points to consider:

Introduced as an expert on matters of "Near Death Experiences" (NDE), professor Kenneth Ring apparently failed to provide important information such as the place - I classified the case as a US case, but this is arbitrarily based on the assumption that as Dr. Ring is a US scientist the witness would possibly also be from the US.

More important, Dr. Ring does not seem to let us know why this could not have been a very ordinary case of hypnagogic hallunication and sleep paralysis.

I provide a few references among dozens about the topic of hypnagogic hallucination and sleep paralysis:

List of issues:

Id: Topic: Severity: Date noted: Raised by: Noted by: Description: Proposal: Status:

3 Ufology Severe December 16, 2007 Patrick Gross Patrick Gross Although obvious, the possibility of an hypnagogic hallucination experience does not seem to have been considered. Help needed. Opened.

Evaluation:

Possible hypnagogic hallucination. Insufficient data.
