A little-documented report in a ufology catalogue reports that a CUFOS file tells of a repeater witness named John Cornett. One evening of 1978, near Damascus, Virginia, USA, he reportedly was in a car with three friends on the Dollarsville road when they saw a huge panelled craft with "different types of lights " on his hull descending slowly over the area.
They reportedly pulled off on the side of the road and watched the craft come down lower, now showing its segmented hull with many port-holes. A small white sphere allegedly shot away from the craft leaving a green tracer behind, this apparently bothered the witness eyes.
John Cornett is said to have left the vehicle and "felt mental communication from the craft." He could now also see several tall figures with large heads moving behind the viewing panels and blue lighting inside the craft.
This craft is said to have suddenly shot away towards the north at high speed shooting a long sheet of flame from its rear.

"CUFOS Files" is obviously not a very useful source reference to find original information.
All I could find is first, in the MUFON Journal #260 of December 1989, an adverstising about tapes to order of a "UFO" conference in Wytheville, Virginia, with one John Cornett, and also the controversial Richard Hoagland, as speakers.

This, added to the remark in [ar1] about the witness being a repetitive witness, can only make me very cautious as to this case.
