It seems that in some issue of the mexican ufology magazine contacto OVNI, a story appeared that near Ceballos, Mexico, on December 27, 1978, at 02:00 a.m., several witnesses were camping out in the natural reserve "La Zona del Silencio."
One of the men had stayed up keeping a watch in the area when he decided to go relieve himself behind the car. Suddenly out of nowhere a little man about 1 meter in height appeared and took him by the hand, telling the witness to follow him.
Thinking that it was a lost child the witness shone his flashlight on the figure and realized that it was a man like figure wearing a tight fitting silvery outfit and with Oriental features.
It is said that the witness was given a small shiny metallic cube, which he kept, but nothing more is known.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that near Ceballos, Mexico, on December 27, 1978, at 02:00 a.m., several witnesses were camping out in an isolated area known as "La Zona del Silencio." One of the men had stayed up keeping a watch in the area when he decided to go relieve himself behind the car. As proof of the incident the witness was given a small shiny metallic cube, which he kept. Whereabouts of the object is unknown.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is "Contacto Ovni."
The name with enigmatic connotation "Zona del Silencio" - "Zone of Silence" is the very serious name of an area in Mexico located between Durango, Chihuahua, and Coahuila, between the parallels 26 and 28, where nature is protected, an area sponsored by UNESCO since 1978. But the name also, wrongly or rightly, came from to the fact that a great deal of rumours are attached to the area. It is said that radio waves do not reach certain places because of "magnetic fields", which would be at the origin of the official name of the area. The place is compared to some sort of Mexican "Bermuda Triangle" because of claims that vehicles or planes were lost there. There are rumours of "alien bases", UFOS, and various "paranormal phenomena", and so on.
I found no other or more detailed information on this case and its elusive hard evidence.
