Brief summary of the event and follow-up:
Ufologist Sebastian Robiou Lamarche reportedly told that in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, in the middle of December 1978, at 6 p.m., a night watchman saw a very tall man wearing a silvery outfit and with very luminous eyes standing in front of a nearby pine tree.
The humanoid suddenly vanished in plain sight as the witness approached.
The next day at about 11:30 p.m. several other persons watched a large bright object with a cupola hovering above the same pine tree.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, in the middle of December 1978, at 1800, a night watchman reported seeing a very tall man wearing a silvery outfit and with very luminous eyes standing in front of a nearby pine tree. The humanoid suddenly vanished in plain sight as the witness approached. The next day at about 2330 several other persons watched a large bright object with a cupola hovering above the same pine tree.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is "Robiou Lamarche, Manifesto Ovnis en Puerto Rico Santo Domingo Y Cuba."
The website indicates that on 6 December 1978 at 02:00 in Jarabacoa, Rincon, Dominican Republic, "Domed disc observed hovering four hours, at 6am watchman saw tall being, dressed in coveralls, very bright eyes. When witness attacked, being stepped aside and disappeared."
And: "Close encounter with a an unidentified craft and monstrous occupants. One domed disc was observed by four witnesses in a forest for four hours. One tall being, wearing a coverall, was seen."
