Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

Frenchman Denys Breysse reportedly indicated in his "Bécassine" CE3 catalogue that in Peru, on November 4, 1978, early in the morning, two men traveling in an area 3 miles from Lima saw a large domed circular object suddenly appear over their vehicle. The object was totally silent. It had a luminous blue light on the front and seemed to dive towards the car, whose driver had to brake to avoid a collision.

Inside the luminous cupola, two figures were seen moving back and forth. The craft then shot away at high speed and vanished.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that near Lima, Peru, on November 4, 1978, early in the morning, two men traveling in an area 3 miles from Lima saw a large domed circular object suddenly appear over their vehicle. Albert Rosales indicates that the source is "Denys Breysse, Project Becassine."

Points to consider:

There is so few information that anything is possible, an invention by the one or two "witnesseses", a press invention, a misidentified helicopter - except if the "totally silent" is taken literally, but at what distance was that? In short, the case is very badly documented, without even an indication of the source, which cannot be initially Denys Breysse.
