The website indicates that on October 12, 1978, in Famailla, Argentina, there was a close encounter with a an unidentified craft and its occupants at close range by a male witness.
The sources are indicated as Webb, David, HUMCAT: Catalogue of Humanoid Reports; Farish, Lucius, UFO Newsclipping Service, UFO Newspaper Clipping Service, Plumerville.
Source [ce1], edited by Roberto Banchs, specifies which listed cases are investiagted cases, and this one, coming from the newspaper La Razon, was not then, and apparently not since then either, which is regretable.
There are indeed somehow similar cases in Argentina, with large number of witnesses, where and investigation did show it was a mistake, due to night and distance; perhaps this is the case here too, perhaps it isn't. The summary does not specify if it happened in the night and does not specify any sighting distances.
