AUGUST 31, 1978, LONDON, LONDON, U-K., A WOMAN:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

On P. Hardman is said to have reported in the BUFORA Journal, volume 8, issue 4, that in London, England, on August 31, 1978, at 07:00 p.m., a woman was sitting in her office on the tenth floor of an office building on the south bank of the river Thames, when she glanced out a window and noticed an object moving at rooftop height.

It was silvery bright, shaped like an elongated parachute; at the bottom it had "a man-shaped figure" apparently protruding "from its tip."

The "object" moved horizontally then stopped briefly above a building, and was finally lost behind the National Theater.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in London, England, on August 31, 1978, at 1900, the witness was sitting in her office on the tenth floor of an office building on the south bank of the river Thames when she glanced out a window and noticed an object moving at rooftop height. It was silvery bright in color and was shaped like an elongated parachute; at the bottom it had a man shaped figure apparently protruding from its tip. The object moved horizontally then stopped briefly above a building. It finally disappeared behind the National Theater and was not seen again. (?)

Albert Rosales indicates that the source is "P Hardman, Bufora Journal Vol. 8 #4."

Encounters with Aliens on this Day

August 31

1978 - A woman was sitting in her office on the tenth floor of an office building in London, England on the south bank of the Thames River at 7:00 p.m. when she glanced out a window and noticed an object moving at rooftop level. It was bright silver in color and was shaped like an elongated parachute. At the bottom was a man protruding from its tip. The parachute or cone-shaped object moved horizontally, then stopped briefly above a building. It finally went behind the National Theater and was not seen again. (Source: Albert S. Rosales, Humanoid Contact Database 1978, case # 999, citing P. Hardman, BUFORA Journal, Volume 8, No. 4).

Points to consider:

The true question here is to understand what kind of miracle is needed to not guess that was described was not exactly what the description suggests: a parachute man!
