Apparently through his 16-year-old son, the story of Richard Jackson made it in a local newspaper. It happened in Bokoelia, Florida, approximately on November 3, 1975, at 02:00 a.m.. Jackson, 56, awoke late at night and stepped outside his trailer home, to find himself standing beside a domed object, with steps leading up to a door. He climbed the steps and was invited in.
Inside was a single round compartment, 24 feet in diameter and 8 feet high, with a small control panel, and eight crewmembers, only one of whom spoke to him. It was a 5-foot tall, stocky or chubby man, of dark complexion, and of aged appearance. He wore brown coveralls with no shirt.
In English, he told Jackson that they came from the planet "Planteh" and have been preparing "a neighboring planet" for colonization by Earthmen. He asked Jackson to help then recruit volunteering colonists, a perfect health being offered him in return.
After 90 minutes of conversation, Jackson left the UFO, which took off fast, and Jackson found himself back in his trailer.

The authors indicate that approximately on November 3, 1975, in Bokoelia, Florida, at 02:00 a.m., Richard Jackson awoke, went out of his trailer, and saw a domed craft and a set of steps extending up to a door.
He was invited inside by a five-foot-tall chubby dark-skinned man with no shirt and wearing brown coveralls. The man said in English that they hailed from Planteh and were preparing a "neighboring planet" to be colonized by Earthlings. Jackson was asked to assist them in recruiting volunteers; in return he would be given perfect health.
After an hour and a half he left the craft, which shot off, and his next recall was being in his trailer.
The authors indicate that the source is the News-Press, of Fort Myers, Florida, December 15, 1975.
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Bokoelia, Florida, on November 3, 1975, at 02:00 a.m., Dick Jackson, 56, awoke late at night and stepped outside his trailer home. He then found himself standing beside a domed object, with steps leading up to a door. He climbed the steps and was invited in.
Inside was a single round compartment, 24 ft in diameter and 8 ft high, with a small control panel, and 8 crewmembers, only one of whom spoke to him. This man was 5-foot tall, stocky, of dark complexion, and elderly looking; he wore brown coveralls with no shirt. Speaking in English, he told Jackson they came from the planet "Planteh." They have been preparing "a neighboring planet" for colonization by Earth people, and Jackson was asked to help then recruit colonists, perfect health being offered him in return.
After 90 minutes of conversation, Jackson left the UFO, which took off with great rapidity; then he found himself in his trailer. He told his 16-year old son of the experience.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Frazier Moore, Fort Myers News-Press.
Although the story sounds like a typical "contactee" fable with the classical human appearing aliens and the science-fictionesque conversation theme, it must be noted that it started while the witness was asleep, and ended when he found himself back home, possibly still in bed. This is why it is possible that the witness experience a strong episode of hypnagogic hallucination. He might have told this to his son as such experiences are puzzling, nothing more, as there does not seem to be indications that he advertised it like "contactees" do.
The story consisting only in a local newspaper article, not available, and having probably been the subject of no research or investigation, it is doubtful that it will be better explained now.
