A story takes place in in Villafranca de los Barros, in the province of Badajoz, in Spain, on January 15, 1969 about pupils of a Jesuit college who saw a luminous disc which was going down, in the evening.
A little later, other pupils saw appearing in the frame of a window located at more than two meters of the ground a gigantic being whose skin or clothing had green reflections and who leaned his enormous face through the window, while being obviously upright.
The young people fled, but once calmed down, the most courageous of them searched in the gardens of the school, but did not find the giant, but on the next day, several enormous footprints were discovered on the sports grounds.
That night and the following nights, the Guardia Civil had organized searh parties in the neighborhoods of the city.
The events were known only several years later, by the father of one of the pupils, the Jesuits having required the secrecy and denied the events; which they had allotted to the imagination or a prank of the pupils, to avoid panic among the parents.

[Ref. js1:] JACQUES SCORNAUX:
Jacques Scornaux indicates that in Villafranca de los Barros, in the province of Badajoz, in Spain, on January 15, 1969 in the evening, the pupils of a Jesuit college saw a luminous disc which was going down.
A little later, other pupils saw appearing in the frame of a window located at more than two meters of the ground a gigantic being whose skin or clothing had green reflections and who leaned his enormous face through the window, while being obviously upright.
The young people fled, but once calmed down, the most courageous of them searched in the gardens of the school, but did not find the giant.
The next day, several enormous footprints were discovered on the sports grounds.
Jacques Scornaux notes that this late revelation by an indirect and unique witness obviously damages the credibility of this case which is perhaps indeed a prank by schoolkids.
He indicates as sources (170; 171; p. 4; 19, p. 61, which does not mention the footprints and gives as source "Data-Net").
Jacques Scornaux rightly stressed why the case lacks credibility. It could have been anything, from a purely invented story, to some confusion, or a prank by other kids. There is currently nothing on the meager file to go beyhond this state of affair.
