SEPTEMBER 14-15, 1968, DRUMMONDVILLE, QUEBEC, CANADA, KIDS:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

In a 1971 book by a not very cautious ufologist, it is indicated that in Drummondville, in the province of Quebec in Canada, on September 14, 1968 in the evening, a group of three young girls saw a man dressed in black who walked in front of them like a robot and stopped, with a terrified face, when he saw them.

He suddenly disappeared at the moment when the children had looked away during a few seconds.

The next day September 15, in the evening, the same witnesses and a fourth saw a "small boy" of 1.20 meters, wrapped in a red round of light. This being came out of the red light and its clothing then appeared blue. He hid behind a large log and the witnesses lost sight of him. But they soon saw close to this log the man with the robot walk they had seen the day before.

The next day, the children found traces on the sand of the way. The oldest of the girls, aged 13, said in a letter to a ufologist that the trace is not that of a dog, for it was long of 5 to 6 inches including the claws, and that it might be possible that these traces are figures or letters as there was only one of each type except for one which was repeated. The girl made a drawing but it was apparently not published.

Each of the children wrote down a testimony, but these accounts are rather confused. The topic of the UFOS was not foreign for them, because one of the young girls wrote:

"I think that the chap in red would have hidden his saucer in a cloud, and that he might have come down on the ground by the "luminous round" which we saw, because he was looking above."

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada, on September 14, 1968, at an unknown time, eight young people saw a "man" who walked like a robot.

The next day, they saw a little man, 4 feet tall, surrounded by a luminous glow, which disappeared, leaving in his place the "robot." The little man "exhibited a fear of light."

At the site, curious tracks were found, shaped like those of a cat with six toes.

Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Humcat quoting newspaper source.

Points to consider:

The reports which are available to me are confused and incomplete, not showing any indication of any field investigation, and could correspond to nearly anything from stories by over-imaginative kids to a hoax or actual nonhuman entities.
