Apparently reported somewhere by US ufologist Richard Heiden, a case allegedly occurred in Valparaiso, Chile, on March 4, 1968, at 01:45 a.m.
Ricardo Castillo Trujillo, a janitor, saw a long and very bright UFO, making a noise like an electric motor, land in an isolated section of the city.
Two occupants in aluminum colored uniforms, of pale skin, came out. The witness could not see any facial details.
They spoke in strange, echo-like voices, asking about his myopic vision, promising that his condition would be cured. The witness said he did not understand them too good, and that he can see real good, even without glasses.
The humanoids promised to return for the witness. Nothing else seems to be known about this.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Valparaiso, Chile, on March 4, 1968, at 01:45 a.m., Ricardo Castillo Trujillo, a janitor, saw a long, very bright UFO making a noise like an electric motor land in an isolated section of the city. Two crewmembers dressed in aluminum colored uniforms emerged; although they were light skinned, the witness could not see any facial details. Speaking in strange, echo-like voices, they inquired about his myopic vision, promising him that the condition would be cured. "I didn't understand them too good," he said, "but the fact is that I can see real good, and without glasses." The humanoids promised to return for the witness.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Richard Heiden.
[Ref. dj1:] DONALD JOHNSON:
Donald Johnson indicates that on March 4, 1968, Ricardo Castillo Trujillo, a janitor, saw a long, very bright UFO at 1:45 a.m. making a noise like an electric motor. It landed in an isolated section of Valparaiso, Chile and two crew members emerged. They were dressed in aluminum colored uniforms. Although he could tell they were light-skinned, he could not make out any facial details. Speaking in strange echo-like voices, they asked him about his nearsightedness, promising him that the condition would be cured. "I didn't understand them too good," he said, "but the fact is that I can see real good now, and without glasses." The humanoids promised to return for the witness.
Donald Johnson indicates that the sources are David F. Webb and Ted Bloecher, HUMCAT, Catalogue of Humanoid Reports, case 1968-19; Albert S. Rosales, Humanoid Contact Database 1968, case 45.
Richard Heiden, indicated as the source by Albert Rosales, was a US ufologist from Milwaukee, who used to have correspondent among latin America ufologists.
I was unable to find any local Chilean or South-American source for the report.
Whatever its first origin is, the story, probably not investigated, with only one witness, does not appear quite credible to me. For example, the alleged witness said he does see well even without glasses; but it makes little sense to have glasses when one sees very well without it.
