Fragmentary sources of various nature that seem to be based on an account of Science-Fiction writer and ufologist Jimmy Guieu in a magazine on the occult provide, when added to each other, the following report of an encounter dated January 29, 1968, or sometimes March 29, 1968, with an anonymous 22-year-old mechanic as witness, in France, at the Pont de la Roque, between Fos-sur-Sea and Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhone.
At this place at 01:15 a.m., on a motorcycle, the mechanic is said to have seen "a saucer" go down and land close to an electric power transformer.
An opening appeared from which a bright white light came out, and an entity, of human appearance, came out and descended from there to the ground on a kind of ramp.
The entity was 1.50 meters tall, wearing a kind of security guard uniform of light color, shining, woven of heavy fabric, with a "turtleneck." He had blonde or white hair, short cut.
The witness was unable to run away or move, but was unable to specify if it was caused by fear or by an actual paralysis.
The saucer occupant examined the ground around him and then noticed the witness, whom he observed during a while before reinstating the saucer; which took off gently in a gust of fresh air. Another version indicates that the man reinstated his saucer at once when he saw the witness.
In the two next weeks, the witness is said to have experience sleepless and agitated nights, and made a premonitory dream about a fire disaster at the Esso plant.

[Ref. fr1:] MICHEL FIGUET ET JEAN-LOUIS RUCHON:
The authors indicate that on January 29, 1968, at the Pont de La Roque, between Fos-sur-Mer and Port-Saint-Louis-of-the-Rhone, Mr "L", a mechanic, witnessed the landing of a "saucer" from which an occupant came out, and he approached within five meters of the saucer.
An opening "uncovered" on it, the witness was unable to run away or move, but could not specify if it was an effective paralysis or caused by his fear.
In the two weeks that followed, he had sleepless and agitated nights, and had a premonitory dream of a catastrophic fire at the Esso factories.
The authors indicate as sources Jimmy Guieu in "Le Grand Albert" #7, pages 22-23 and a "special paralysis" in Ouranos.
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Fos-su-Mer [sic, Fos-sur-Mer], Arles, France, on March 29, 1968, at 01:15 a.m., an unidentified 22-year-old mechanic, on a motorbike between Fos-sur-Mer and Port Saint Louis, observed a UFO, descend, and land near a power transformer. An opening appeared in the base from which was emitted a bright white light. Then a human appearing entity emerged and descended to the ground on a kind of ramp. He wore a sort of security guard's outfit with a "rolled collar." The suit was light colored and brilliant, woven of heavy stitches. The man's hair white blond or white, and cut in a crew-cut. He examined the ground around him and then noticed the witness, whom he watched for a moment before re-entering the object. The UFO took off gently with a gust of cool air.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Joel Mesnard and Jean Marie Bigorne.
"Le Grand Albert", subtitled "The Newspaper of the Secret Science" was a modest bulletin published in France from 1972 on, its name coming from a Middle Ages alchemy book, and dealing with the occult, esoterism, remote viewing, magic etc, all things Jimmy Guieu was very fond of.
It is obviously not possible to put out any certain explanation being given the skeletal reports available, each one seeming to give some element missing in the others. The lack of data, they incompleteness, their dubious origin, the lack of an investigation report, the saucer with its very human occupant, of folkloric type, hardly give weight to the story which could very well have been totally invented.
