FALL 1965, SOMEWHERE, USA, SOMEONE:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

Dr. Leo Sprinkle, a ufologist using hypnosis on the witnesses thinking that it "recovers lost memories" of encounters with aliens, reportedly indicated that at some unspecified place, in autumn 1965, at midnight, a girl or a woman who was in her residence saw an object looking like a full moon changing shape.

When she went outside, a humanoid being in dark boots and clothing approached her, and her next memory was to be home at 05:00 a.m..

Under hypnosis she told that that two men took her with her brother in a round room and examined them, and that "a conversation followed about psychology and the human brain".

Narratives:

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in a place not given, on autumn 1965, at midnight, the witness was at home when she saw an object like a full moon changing shape. When she went outside a humanoid being in dark boots and clothing approached, and she next remembered being at home at 05:00 a.m.. Under hypnosis she remembered that two men took her and her brother into a round room and examined both of them. A conversation followed about psychology and the human brain.

Albert Rosales indicates as source Dr Leo Sprinkle.

Points to consider:

Dr. Ronald Leo Sprinkle (born 1930) is an American psychologist who studied at the University of Colorado and earned his Ph.D. at the University of Missouri. He was possibly the first academic figure to investigate tales of alleged alien abduction, as soon as the 1960s. He used hypnosis to allegedly "recover suppressed memories" of people who suspected they were abducted by aliens and on the base of theses "recovered" stories, he told them and his readers that he concludes they were really abducted by aliens. Eventually, he became convinced that he too had been abducted by aliens. He was the founder of the "Rocky Mountain Conference on UFO Investigation" in 1980.
