In 2002, a US ufology website published this email:
"When I was a teenager living in oregon I had a scary experience that I will never forget about. My mom and step-dad went out. I heard a strange noise outside - heard a UFO coming down and saw strange lights outside on the ground. I saw a alien creature standing outside the front door looking at me. It had the face of an ape and chain across the chest area. The next day I went outside and they were impression in the ground where the UFO landed."

Unique Looking Alien IntruderPosted Anonymously (name on file) Editor's Note: The alien in the following story does sound scary and this is the first time I've ever heard of an alien like this. Thanks for sharing the story. When I was a teenager living in oregon I had a scary experience that I will never forget about. My mom and step-dad went out. I heard a strange noise outside - heard a UFO coming down and saw strange lights outside on the ground. I saw a alien creature standing outside the front door looking at me. [Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that near Madras, Oregon, in 1965, at night, the teenage witness was alone at home when he heard a noise coming from outside. Looking out he saw an object with strange lights descending towards the ground. Soon he saw an alien creature standing outside the front door staring at him. The creature had the face of an ape and wore what appeared to be a chain across the chest area. The next day he found an impression on the ground where the UFO had landed. No other information.
Albert Rosales indicates as source Pancake Perspectives #6.
"Pancake Perspective" was a ufology bulletin distributed via the web by the ufology website UFO Wisconsin ( www.ufowisconsin.com/pancakeperspectives.html ) in 2002 and 2003. Issue 6 was edited by Jim Aho and published on June 27, 2002. The title "Pancake Perspective" comes from one infamous CE3-type story in which one Joe Simonton produced ordinary pancakes, claiming aliens had baked them for him. Although the case is clearly a hoax, some ufologist prefer to think that aliens display absurd behavior and thus are not really aliens but something much stranger - than to admit the witness was the prankster.
This case is only a few lines dropped at a web site with no further research. The believer will believe, the scoffer will go "ha ha!", the skeptic will ask "show me the hard evidence" and I go: 'fraid if that's all there is to it then it's not much of a solid case.
