An article in Strange Magazine reported decades after the occurrence that in Joyce, Louisiana, on Autumn 1965, in the evening, a young persone noticed some movement inside the backyard, then saw a 4-foot tall figure with a huge pumpkin shaped head and glowing cat-like eyes that stood in the yard and stared at the witness. It then darted quickly across the yard and disappeared into the neighbor's rush covered yard.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Joyce, Louisiana, on Autumn 1965, in the evening, the young witness noticed some movement inside the backyard, then saw a four-foot tall figure with a huge pumpkin shaped head and glowing cat-like eyes that stood in the yard and stared at the witness. Points to consider:

"Young" witness could be an euphemism for a very young child. It is the autumn, it is the evening, it is a young witness, the distance is not indicated, there is no UFO, no physical evidence, no other witness, there does not seem an investigation was published to my knowledge, the information is very poor... I wonder whether this is not simply about a kid frightened by somebody in disguize for Halloween for example; in which the children, often four feet tall, use pumpkins and candles to be made heads with luminous eyes. There is, in any case, nothing in the raport to sclude such an explanation.
