Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

In 2004, a sensationalistic tabloid in Ukraine claimed that that at the gold mine of Vershi, zone of Shilka, area of Chita, East Siberia, Russia, in 1965, in the night, Roza Zvyagina was home with her three-year-old son while her husband was on business trip. The child slept and she waslooking at the cat licking itself under the table. It was very bright in the apartment since the close gold mine was lit by many projectors opposite the apparement's windows. She could hear from time to time the dispatcher's the voice by the loudspeaker.

Suddenly the cat stopped licking itself and started to stare at a corner of the room. Roza looked there and was "froze with horror" by seeing an enormous humanoid entity, that almost reached the ceiling as it was very tall, and that waled to her.

This humanoïde was thin, dark, and moved in a very strange way, placing its elbows ahead and folding its knees then, as if it were on a spring, a leg ahead and the parallel elbow with it, and then the other. The woman could not see much details of this entity and did not see its clothes either.

She stared at the entity while it leaned above it and firmly grabbed one of the woman's knees and her elbow. She wanted to shout, but could not even speak, she was paralyzed.

The cat was now staring at both the humanoid and the alien."

Suddenly the loud voice of the dispatcher of the mine was heard and the dark entity is "dissolved in thin air".

The cat then resumed licking itself as if nothing had occurred. Rozathen stood up and lit the light, took a cup of tea, but the feeling of a powerful hand seizing her knee and elbow did not go away. After a certain time the knee that had been touched by the humanoid was seriously painful, just as the elbow, and the woman "had to have a surgical operation performed on it."

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Vershi gold mine, Shilka area, Chita region, East Siberia, Russia, in 1965, at night, a woman named Roza Zvyagina was staying at home with her 3-year old son while her husband had gone out on a business trip. The child was sleeping and she was looking at her cat "washing" under the table. It was very light in the flat since the "Vershi" gold mine was nearby, lit up by numerous projectors opposite to the flat's windows. She could hear the dispatcher's voice from time to time over the loudspeaker. Suddenly the cat stopped licking itself and began staring fixedly at a corner. Roza looked in the direction of the cat's glance and froze with horror after seeing a huge humanoid entity, which almost reached the ceiling because of its height, walking in her direction. The humanoid figure was thin, dark, and was moving in a very strange manner, placing its elbows forward and then bending his knees. The strange entity appeared to be moving as if on a spring, on leg moved ahead and the elbow parallel with it, and then the other. The woman could not see many details on the entity and neither did she see the alien's clothing. She stared at the entity as it leaned over her and tightly grabbed one of her knees and her elbow. She wanted to scream, but could not even speak, it appears that she was paralyzed. The cat was now staring at both the humanoid and the alien. Suddenly the loud voice from the mine's dispatcher was heard in the street and the dark entity instantly disappeared, simply dissolved into thin air. The cat then continued washing itself, like nothing had happened. Roza then stood up and turned on the light, had a cup of tea, but the feeling of a powerful hand grabbing her knee and elbow did not pass. After some time the knee that had been touched by the humanoid, experienced severe pain, the same with the elbow, which the woman had too have a surgical operation performed on it.

Points to consider:

"Interesnaya Gazeta", i.e. "Interesting Newspaper", of Kiev, Ukraine, is a sensationalist tabloid publishing in their "IKS-BLOK" section all kinds of extraordinary stories often verging on the unbelievable. I thus do not have any element of credibility for this story.

The inconsistency of the story possibly appears at the time when we are told that the cat looked at "at the same time at the humanoid and at the alien" whereas there is only one entity in rest if the story - unless this is a translation error for "both the human and the alien".
