The number of disappearances in the forest of El Yunque in Puerto Rico raises many questions. Many those who disappeared there through the years were children. In 1965, Maria Esther Figueroa, 8-year-old, from Aibonito, Puerto Rico, disappeared during a school trip. A search was set up but she was never found.
Years later, already adult, another girl who accompanied Maria Esther at the time she disappeared, told journalist Luis Francisco Ojeda that she had seen two individuals dressed in indigo blue coats grabbing Maria Esther, who was screaming and struggling hopelessly to escape them.
Because she screamed too, she was discovered by the two individuals, who were of Latin type, and who shouted at her in Spanish language with a Puertorican accent that if she screamed they would take her too. When they pretended to walk towards her, she ran and escaped them.
Later still, this sad story entered in two ufology texts as if this was related to UFO matters.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in El Yunque, Puerto Rico, in 1965, in the afternoon, in an area ripe with reports of UFO sightings and other weird encounters, 8-year old Maria Esther Figueroa had gone camping along with her school friends and several teachers. Maria mysteriously disappeared in the thick jungle and was never heard from again. Years later the other girl that had been in the woods with her at the time of her disappearance, came forward and told reporters that she had heard little Maria scream, and saw her struggling with two tall men dressed in light blue/gray coveralls, that had apparently grabbed her. The girl also screamed and the men saw her, telling her, in no uncertain terms to leave the area or she would too be taken. The men made a sudden move towards her and she ran away in a panic, apparently blocking the incident from her mind for years to come.
Albert Rosales indicates as source Jorge Martin, Evidencia OVNI #7.
[Ref. in1:] ON THE WEB:
The number of disappearances in the forest raises many questions and much of those who disappeared in El Yunque through the years were, alas, children, and children of young age. In 1965, María Esther Figueroa, an 8-year-old girl living in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, disappeared during a school trip. An important search of the child was organized, who proved unsuccessful. The other little girl who accompanied her at the time she disappeared, told years later, already adult, to journalist Luis Francisco Ojeda, that she had seen how two individuals dressed in blue colored coats grabbed Maria Esther, who was screaming and struggling hopelessly to escape them. Because she screamed too, she was discovered by the two individuals, who were of Latin type, and who shouted at her in Spanish language with a Puertorican accent that if she screamed they would take her too. When they pretended to walk towards her, she ran and escaped them. But nothing more was known by Maria Esther. Who were these individuals dressed in indigo blue color? This mystery remains. |
It seems that certain ufologists would use any story as they wish.
There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to use this dramatic event as a UFO or UFO occupants or humanoid case A child was kidnapped, obviously by bad people, but it is appalling to suggest that they come from space on board or UFOs or anything in such directions.
