Author of books on mysteries in all kinds, British author Janet Bord wrote an article for Flying Saucer Review in 1972 asserting that "psychics" and "mediums" too, say they see flying saucers, which should hardly astonish anyone.
In her article, she reported that on December 11, 1965, at at 1:05 p.m., Charles Jones, who claims to be psychic and has frequently reported UFO sightings ever since 1947, was driving home between Sheridan and Lamong, Indiana, USA, when he saw a lighted object come down through the low clouds.
It was shaped like a cigar, but with the rear end cut off on a bevel, and it bore a red and white blinking light. The front had a transparent surface and through it Jones could see a very stockily built, six-foot tall occupant, appearing to hide his face from the witness. He wore a tight-fitting headpiece, continuous with the coveralls, that obscured the hair and ears. Jones did however observe one eye; which he said was larger than normal sized and set more toward the side of the head. The face also had a wide nose and jowls. The complexion of the face was dark bronze, and the entity was wearing a one-piece brown coverall. The object was less than 60 feet off the ground and approximately 150 feet from the left side of the road, traveling north. Apparently, the sighting lasted only seconds.

Donald Johnson indicates that on December 11, 1965, at at 1:05 p.m., Charles Jones, who claims to be psychic and has frequently reported UFO sightings ever since 1947, was driving home between Sheridan and Lamong, Indiana, when he saw a lighted object come down through the low clouds. [Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Sheridan, Indiana, on December 11, 1965, at 1305, Charles Jones, who is a psychic and has frequently seen UFOs since 1947, was driving home when he saw a lighted object coming down from low clouds. It was shaped like a cigar cut off in the rear on a bevel, and bore a red and white blinking light. The front was transparent and Jones could see a "very stocky built" occupant 6 ft tall who was hiding his face; he wore a tight headpiece, continuous with a coverall, that obscured hair and ears. Jones did, however observe one eye, which was three times normal sized and set toward the side of the head; the face wide nosed and jowls. The complexion was dark bronze, and the entity was wearing a one-piece brown coverall. The object was less than 60 ft off the ground and approximately 150 ft to the left of the road, traveling north.
Albert Rosales indicates as source Janet Bord for FSR.
[Ref. ud1:] "UFODNA" WEBSITE:
The website indicates that on December 11, 1965, at 01:05 p.m., in Sheridan, Indiana, USA, a hovering object about 20 feet across was observed in overcast weather by one male witness called C. Jones on a highway for a few seconds; occupants of the craft were seen.
The sources are indicated as Webb, David, HUMCAT: Catalogue of Humanoid Reports; FSR, FSR (formerly Flying Saucer Review), FSR, London, 1966; Bloecher, Ted R. Ted R Bloecher investigation files; Eberhart, George M., A Geo-Bibliography of Anomalies, Greenwood Press, Westport, 1980, ISBN:0-313-21337-2.
Obviously what Janet Bord was interested in was not to go to the US to investigate or check with the witness, but to list without checking "cases" illustrating some sort of "link" conclusive of "something", with "cases" illustrating that psychics and mediums also see UFOs.
Whatever visionary powers Charles Jones was gfted of, he however did not see that reading the report, in these unverifiable second hand versions that entered ufology catalogues at least, one can only wonder whether it was not a helicopter, and wonder why he does not seem to have thought about that and in any case did not explain why it would not be a helicopter. The description is almost perfect! A "large eye" on the side of the head, the only characteristic that seems superficially strange here, can be interpreted quite simply as the ear-phone of the helmet the pilot had.
We only miss the information that would tell us if this craft were silent or noisy. But is this really an accident that this very simple information that any ufologist even beginner would know to be an important one is missing?
