David Hanlon had sent a list of alleged UFO landings stories from South America in 1965 he had received from some local correspondent, to Gordon Creighton of the Flying Saucer Review.
One of the cases is summarized with no other information, as a claim that in the night of September 8, 1965, in Puno, close to lake Titicaca, Peru, a 7-year-old boy saw inside a patio of a house of the Acora street, one-eyed beings, 0.80 meters tall.
He reportedly run for help, and when his family came, they only saw a immensely brilliant light rising quickly in the sky.
The story was later republished sometimes with distortions in many ufological catalogues.

[Ref. gc1:] GORDON CREIGHTON:
Gordon Creighton indicates that late at night on September 8, 1965, in Puno near lake Titicaca in the South East of Peru, in the patio of a house on the Acora street, a 7-year-old boy saw seven 0.80 meters tall on-eyed beings.
He ran to get help and when his family arrived all they saw was an immensely bright light rising rapidly into the sky.
At almost the same time, a well-known sports writer, Jorge Chaves, was driving with his family in the adjacent suburbs of Juli and Pomata, when they saw a strange object settle gently on the road ahead. Chaves tried to approach it, but it rose and vanished at great speed.
He indicates that during much of August and September, there were scores of UFO sightings in Peru, and this particular report was confirmed to be correct by the editor of El Comercio, Lima, Peru's most serious paper.
Gordon Creighton indicates that the story comes form a list of some recent landings in Peru forwarded by Donald Hanlon in a letter for November 23, 1965 to the Flying Saucer Review.

The case unfortunately lacks information and lacks credibility.
I can be noticed how in the summaries, one child becomes "children", how its age goes from 7 to 12, and how an UFO seen by the boy is added whereas he saw creatures in the most original version.
