Journalist and author of UFO books John A. Keel apparently told that in late August 1965, during a nationwide UFO flap, an unnamed young woman from Seattle woke up at 02:00 a.m. and found herself paralyzed, when a football-sized dull gray object came in the room through an open window and landed on tripod legs on her floor.
A tiny ramp descended from the miniature UFO and 5 or 6 little people dressed in tight-fitting clothes climbed down the UFO and started to work on repairs, then stepped back into the craft and it flew away. Then the woman, who was certain that she was wide awake, was able to move again.

[Ref. cc1:] JEROME CLARK AND LOREN COLEMAN:
The authors, discussing the topic of miniature UFOs, indicate that according to ufologist John A. Keel, in late August 1965, during a nationwide UFO flap, a young Seattle woman woke up at 02:00 a.m. and found herself paralyzed.
She lay helpless, when a football-sized dull gray object came in the room through an open window and landed on tripod legs on her floor.
A tiny ramp descended from the miniature UFO and five or six little people dressed in tight-fitting clothes climbed down the UFO and started to work on repairs.
When this was done, they stepped back into the craft and it flew away. Then the witness, who was certain that she was wide awake, was able to move again.
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Seattle, Washington, on late August 1965, at 02:00 a.m. the witness suddenly awoke and realized she was paralyzed and could not move. Her bedroom window was open and then a small dull gray football shaped object entered. It hovered above her carpet; it then lowered three tripod legs and landed on the floor. A small ramp descended from it and five or six tiny man-like figures emerged. They wore tight fitting outfits and seemed to work on something on the object. They went up the ramp again and the object then floated silently out the window. At that point the witness was able to move again.
Albert Rosales indicates as source John A Keel, UFOs Operation Trojan Horse.

The website indicates that late in August 1965, at 02:00, in Seattle, Washington, USA, there was a close encounter with a an unidentified craft and its occupants. Nocturnal lights were reported.

In one of his books, John Keel spares no harsh words against ufologists, accusing that they "do not to give the names of their witnesses"; which is actually what Keel didn't do in many cases. He accuses that ufologist wantto impose an extraterrestrial explanation on testimonies whereas, he argues, some cases are so absurd that extraterrestrial cannot be involved; here, the absurdity is about the tiny size of the UFO and its occupants. Like many authors who insist on a "paranormal" or "interdimensional" or "psychic" for UFO sigthing reports, he simply failed to carry out a true and documented investigation by delivering only some anecdotic lines and failed in first checking whether what this woman apparently reported - we are not told when, how and to whom it was reported - would not be explicable in a conventional manner.
We have, in this sparse information, at least the indication that the witness was single, that she was sleeping when the experience started, but that it was not a simple dream since it was sure to be "wide awake", a typical impression during hypnagogic hallucination episodes, just as typical as the impossibility of moving one's bodyduring those experiences.
I provide a few references among dozens about the topic of hypnagogic hallucination and sleep paralysis:
