Ufologists apparently reported that in Sedalia, Missouri, on August 16, 1965, at 11 p.m., an anonymous woman was driving home and was within a mile of her house when she saw a light in a field, with "smoke" around it.
In the ditch, she noticed two large "birds," one of which flew at her car. She arrived home at 00:25 a.m., unable to account for the lapse of time.
Under hypnotic regression, she recalled that the "birds" in the ditch where in fact two entities wearing space suits. One carried a sack on its back, into which the other was putting clumps of grass and soil samples. They were "bouncing up and down, their arms flopping at their sides" in a "stiff" manner suggestive of robots.
One started to come out of the ditch, slipped back, then emerged and stood in front of her; its helmet began to glow brilliantly, and she could now see that its head was wrapped up in tape like a mummy, with only the eyes visible. It stood slightly over 5 feet tall.
At this point, a "thing - a football shaped UFO - landed on the road ahead of her car." Two beings with slightly pointed heads and "wrap around" eyes emerged from it and opened her car door. They conducted her into the object, assuring her telepathically that she would not be hurt. The air inside the UFO was "heavy" and difficult for her to breathe.
Once she was inside, they flew the ship over a nearby field, which caused its interior lights to change from white to red. One of the entities, who did most of the talking, appeared to be a scientist or doctor; he wore an insignia of three rings on his chest. Another had a red lighting flash symbol on his uniform and she took him to be the pilot. A third entity appeared to be a woman. All these stood 5 feet 10 inches tall.
The "doctor" put an object of some kind over her head and she felt as if something were going into her brain. A round black object was then taken out of the wall, and with it "pictures" were taken of her; the object glowed blue when the pictures were taken. On a screen on the wall appeared a pattern of 7 vertical lines with markings between them; which she thought must have been a tabular representation of her brain and body. Two figures, about a foot shorter, made their appearance. Resembling "gnomes," they aroused fear in the witness. They appeared old, their foreheads were wrinkled. She was told by the humanoids that they and the "mummies" came from different planets.
Finally she was led back to her car, the UFO ascended, and then vanished while still at low altitude.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Sedalia, Missouri, on August 16, 1965, at 2300, the witness, an anonymous woman, was driving home at 2300 and was within a mile of her house when she saw a light in a field, with "smoke" around it. [Ref. ud1:] "UFODNA" WEBSITE:
The website indicates that on August 16, 1965 at 23:00, in Sedalia, Missouri, USA, a woman was abducted four hours, humanoids gathered grass and dirt. The was an examination, a complex conversation. An abduction of a witness was reported. One object was observed by one female witness who was "an experienced observor", on a highway for 240 minutes.
The website then provides the summary as in [ar1].
The sources are indicated as Webb, David, HUMCAT: Catalogue of Humanoid Reports; Hatch, Larry, *U* computer database, Author, Redwood City, 2002; Rosales, Albert, Humanoid Sighting Reports Database.
It is obvious here that there is a large contrast between the alleged conscious observation by the witness and what appeared with the use of hypnosis. In the conscious state, we have birds and a light with smoke, which is hardly strange. Via hypnosis, a fragmentary and discontinuous story emerged, comprising all kinds of various items typically found in the ufology literature and the fictions on alien abductions. The wraparound eyes are described in the famous case of Betty and Barney Hill, "mummies" was a term used by the media to describe the entities in the case of Hickson and Parker in Pascagoula, etc.
What happens is that when you put someone who came to see you with the idea that maybe she was abducted by aliens but does not remember in the state of hypnosis, just about any sort of memories of aliens would surface. Not real aliens that were really met in real life! But any possible souvenir of forgotten dream, or any memory of a sci-fi show or movie, UFO documentary, book or magazine. and then, thanks to careless ufologist, you would end up really convinced that you met aliens.
Real memories recovered by hypnosis, yes, but real memories of any possible fiction. The case illustrates the dangers of this uncontrolled approach, as it can reinforce all kinds of beliefs.
In the 1980's, a number of British ufologists, and ufologists from other countries, realized that, and it materialized in Great Britain by a moratorium on the use of hypnosis by BUFORA, the British UFO Research Association, by the very pioneers of the use of hypnosis in Great Britain. This was a wise decision!
