Ufologists reportedly told that in Lake Forest, Illinois, USA, in July 1965, at approximately 11:30 p.m., an unidentified woman, or a woman possibly named Harvey, was talking on the telephone in her second floor bedroom, when she heard a rustling sound, or unusual sounds, outdoors, and saw a bright flash of light.
When she finished her conversation, she looked out the window and saw a globe of light, "diffuse at the edges," hovering about 5 to 10 feet above a neighbor's lawn 100 feet away. The globe appeared transparent and inside were several figures, possibly as many as six, laying on their backs and making "rowing motions."
They were about 5' tall and dressed in white suits, with bare heads and arms, disclosing deep "suntans."
The stationary and silent object was not seen anymore when it apparently extinguished its light after about 5 minutes.

"42. Maybe They Use Telephones - One night in 1965, around 11:30p.m, a woman in Lake Forest, Illinois was talking on the telephone in her second-floor bedroom. Mid-conversation, she observed a flash of light and heard some unusual sounds. She glanced out her window, only to witness a bizarre sight - a transparent bubble of light floating just above a neighbor's lawn. Several human-like figures with tanned skin were lying inside it making "rowing motions" with their arms. Shortly thereafter, the light went out, and the bubble and its creatures were gone."
Here, we have a case of apparently high strangeness, unfortunately poorly documented and of unknown origin.
