((NUFORC Note: The date is only approximate. However, it is interesting to note the spate of sightings in southeast New Hampshire during the summer of 1965, culminating in the dramatic sighting near Exeter (Kensington), NH, on 03SE65, known as the "Incident at Exeter." That case was the first one investigated by Peter Davenport, presently the Director of the National UFO Reporting Center. PD)) |
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Vassalboro, Maine, on June 28, 1965, at 09:00 a.m., the 9-year old witness was out playing in a sand box at the front yard of her house when she looked up to see a large silvery craft, disc shaped with a dome on top, going over the area about 200 feet up. It had large square windows and the witness was able to see shadows of figures inside them. The object disappeared towards Bangor Maine.
Albert Rosales indicates as source NUFORC.
Because anyone can state to have observed an UFO, and because there are cases in which the reporter was proven to have made up the report, it is not possible to grant credibility to a case only made up of a web report.
To establish the credibility and the reliability of a case, a ufology investigation is necessary. It does not seem that there was an investigation of this report.
A case with a single witness can hardly be regarded as certainly credible or reliable.
The sighting was done when the witness was a child and reported 35 years later.
