It seems that in 1978, ufologist Ted Bloecher investigated or recorded a case dated March 6, 1965, at 07:30 p.m., in Mobile, Alabama, USA.
It is said that Mrs. B. Crutchfield saw a sphere encircled in the middle with windows. This UFO came to within 150 feet distance and an estimated altitude of only 65 feet from the ground, as if it was going to crash in the street.
She could see a human-appearing pilot or occupant inside, wearing a silver flight suit, and a second figure stood in front of an instrument panel.
The sighting lasted 2 minutes. At the time, she thought it was an experimental aircraft of the U.S. Air Force. It is said the witness reported other sightings thereafter.

Is this the sighting of a helicopter by an uneducated woman who did not recognize it? Why is there no word on whether the craft was silent or noisy? Why is this very important information missing? What sorts of other sighting did she reports? Where is the investigation file? This is a case that raises more questions than it holds answers, as only short summaries seems to have survived tha passage of time.
