This ufologist indicated in a chronology of Cuban cases that in 1959, Mr. Pablo Rodriguez states that he had been fishing near the shores of Havana one morning around 8:00 a.m. with a friend.
He noticed that the sea "began to bubble like soap suds". An enormous metallic disk suddenly emerged from the water, hovering in the air for a few minutes, and then vanishing at high speed. Moments later, at a depth of a few meters, they saw "black-clad figures looking like frogmen" pass near their boat, although their origin could not be ascertained.
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that on La Havana coast, Cuba, on 1959, at 08:00 a.m., a man fishing with a friend near the coastline suddenly saw the water around his vessel began to bubble, moments later a huge silvery disc shaped craft emerged out of the water hovered briefly, then shot away at high speed.
A few minutes later they saw very near the boat at several meters in depth 3 to 4 dark clad figures that appeared to be wearing tight fitting diving suits. The witnesses could not determine the origin of the figures and assumed that they were somehow connected to the flying disc.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Dr Sergio Cervera.
