The ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit indicated in 1973 that it was communicated by Mr. Cohin, of the SVEPS, that one Thursday of the end of October 1959, towards 18:00, in the Madrague de Montredon, 8, Impasse Marseilles-Veyres, Aubagne, the Bouches-du-Rhône, whose current owner is Mr. Decinthe, from the terrace of the house, Mrs. Moulet, 45 years then, commercial diploma, daughter of an inspector of the S.N.C.F. [State railway company], resident of the road of Eoures, la Font-de-Mai in Aubagne, and her three children, two twins, 6 years at the time, and a daughter, 9, observed the silent descent of an object giving the impression of a boat splitting the waves, which stopped just above her and the children who gathered close against her.
Through the broad porthole of the craft, she saw about 20 observers of beautiful aspect, large stature, white outfits, short sleeves, mandarin collar, very light complexion, corrugated fair hair, beautiful faces "like never seen". "Smiles, impressions of laughter."
There were no physiological effects, except her frozen hands and frozen linen which she was putting to dry. The temperature became normal again after the departure of the object. There was a "slight vibration" before this departure, the object disappeared in 2 or 3 seconds, with traces of a trail.
Mrs. Moulet thought of an American or Russian craft, but had never seen similar beings.
The duration of the observation was 10 to 15 minutes, the sky was in the half-light, with a sunset at 05:30 p.m., without clouds. The area is rather broken, with the solid mass of the Marseilles Veyres mound at 432 meters.

The authors indicate that in the end of October 1959, in La Madrague-de-Montredon, Aubagne, France, Mrs. Moulet, aged 45, was putting linen to dray in company of her three children, two 6-year-old twins and a 9-year-old daughter, who gathered against her, when she saw an ovoid object descending and stopping above her head, giving the impression of a boat splitting water.
The object was in horizontal position, the back had the aspect and the color of polished steel, the front had a strong light above a vast porthole topping a platform.
There was some twenty observers visible by this broad porthole; they were of beautiful aspect, large stature, in white outfits, short sleeves, mandarin collar, light complexion, corrugated fair hair; there were smiles and impressions of laughter.
The thing advanced without noise, there was a slight vibration before its departure and its disappearance in 2 or 3 seconds with a trace of trail. The duration of the observation was 10 to 15 minutes.

The Belgian ufologist indicates that at the end of October 1959, in France, at the Madrague de Montredon, Aubagne, Mrs. Moulet and her three children were outside around 6 p.m., when she saw an ovoid object descending in horizontal position, with the back of color and aspect of polished steel, a strong light at the front, and a vast porthole above surmounting a platform. Though this porthole, some 20 figures were visible, of beautiful aspect, tall, in white outfit, short sleeves, mandarin collar, pale skin, corrugated fair hair, smiles, impression of laughing. The craft gave the impression of a boat splitting the waves, it moved without noise. There was a slight vibration before the departure in 2 or 3 seconds.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Aubagne, Bouches du Rhone, France, in the end of October 1959, at 06:00 p.m., Miss Moulet, 45, was hanging out her washing in the twilight, with her 3 children, when she saw an egg-shaped object descend silently, to hover just above her. Through a wide triangular window in its front, strongly illuminated, she could see about 20 persons, tall, with wavy blond hair and very light skin, wearing white suits and short sleeves. They were smiling or perhaps laughing at her. The air became very cold. After 10-15 minutes the object took off again, disappearing in 2 or 3 seconds, leaving a slight trail.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is M Cohin of SVEPS in LDLN #125, and Humcat 1959-15.
The case is certainly of high strangeness, I do not see what kind of confusion or natural phenomenon could explain it. However there is obviously no physical evidence to corroborate the story, it is a story rather than an investigation report, the background of the single witness remains unevaluated. The quite "human" looks of these twenty characters hardly evokes some species that evolved on another planet; the story might just be counted as a case of something like "time travelers" rather than "aliens", but the lack of credibility remains.
