The Belgian ufology bulletin Inforespace indicated that on October 19, 1959, at about 00:15, in Pinhal, Brazil, retired police officer Cavalheiro Mendes, alone in his chalet, went to sit down on the terrace. At the end of 5 minutes, he had a feeling of fear which was so overwhelming that he felt uneasy, while a heat overpowered him in general but especially his face and his hair rose.
He wanted to go back inside, but as soon as he stood, he went towards a small way, crossed the barrier, his will seeming dominated by an unknown force. He walked barefoot to the beach, feeling weak. He wanted to sit down, but felt constrained to move on, staggering.
He then noticed within 150 meters an orange gleam of a lenticular apparatus. Within 20 meters of the machine, a male human bust with large bulging eyes appeared, of tan skin, beardless, with long smooth fair hair combed back. The bust carried a coarse jacket of lead color with a high collar, without closings nor pockets. when he arrived very close to this bust, it bent its head on the left and on the right and smiled.
A kind of banal telepathic conversation followed. With the arm, he made a circular gesture to the right, opened hand, joined fingers.
In the direction shown, the witness saw a small man, approximately 1.60 meters tall, moving towards the apparatus and disappearing from sight. Then the witness heard the noise of the latch of the barrier, and all of a sudden recovered his normal state. It was then 01:30.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Pinhal, Sao Paolo, Brazil, on December 1959, at an unknown time, a witness encountered a two-meter tall humanoid with large eyes, blond hair, and wearing a tight fitting gray coverall. He was accompanied by a shorter, 1.60 meter in height, also human in appearance. No other information.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Revista Brasileira Ovni.

The magazine's website indicates in a case list that in Pinhal, State of Sao Paulo, in 1959, a two meters tall extraterrestrial, with large eyes, fair hair and ash-colored clothing, was seen close to another being, of one meter sixty in height, in a fir plantation.
This is definitely a high strangeness report; however, it has only one witness we know little about, and no information is at hand about the origine of the story. It is not known whether it was investigatred or not.
