APRIL 26, 1959, SAO PAULO, SAO PAULO, BRAZIL, LUIS DA SILVA:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

Brazilian ufology group SBEDV reported that in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on April 26, 1959, at midnight, Luis da Silva was going to bed or was asleep in bed when he saw a "red hot" disc in the sky.

Luis Da Silva woke and felt a compulsion to go out to the garden, where he found a note telling him to return the next night at 01:30 a.m.. He did so, and felt paralyzed as a circular object appeared at an altitude of 300 feet.

From this disc, a man descended "in a spiral" without touching the ground. the man wore a helmet, and was clad in plastic clothing, with gloves looking like glass.

He told Da Silva to return on Thursday at 02:05 a.m., and went up again in a spiral to his craft.

On Thursday the same sequence of events occurred, but this time three occupants came down from the disc one at a time. The last of them asked Da Silva for a sheet of paper, wrote a message in an unknown writing on it.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on April 26, 1959, at midnight, having see a "red hot" appearing disc in the sky before he went to bed, Luis Da Silva woke and felt a compulsion to go out to the garden, where he found a note telling him to return the next night at 01:30 a.m.. He did so, and as a circular object appeared at an altitude of 300 ft he felt himself paralyzed. From the UFO descended in a spiral a man who did not quite touch the ground; he wore a helmet, and was clad in plastic clothing, with gloves looking like glass. He told Da Silva, to return on Thursday at 02:05 a.m., and re-ascended in a spiral to his craft. On Thursday the same sequence of events occurred, but 3 entities in sequence descended (only one at a time.) The last of these asked Da Silva for a sheet of paper, and inscribed upon it a message of unknown markings.

Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Dr Walter Buhler SBEDV, and Humcat 1959-7.

[Ref. dj1:] DONALD JOHNSON:

Donald Johnson indicates that on April 25, 1959, Luis Da Silva saw a "red hot" colored disc in the sky on the evening of April 23rd in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Around midnight of April 23-24, he awoke and felt the need to go outside to the garden. There he found a noted that told him to return the following night at 1:30 a.m. When he did so, a circular UFO appeared in the air 300 feet above the ground, and he felt himself paralyzed. A man descended from the UFO in a slow spiral, but when he reached the ground he stopped above it and his feet did not quite touch the ground. He wore a helmet and some form of plastic clothing, and gloves looking like they were made of a transparent, glass material. He told Da Silva to return on Thursday at 2:05 a.m., and then re-ascended in a spiral into the craft. On Thursday, the same sequence of events occurred, but the next time three entities descended in sequence. The last one of these men asked Da Silva for a piece of paper, and inscribed upon it a message of some kind, written in indescipherable markings.

The sources are indicated as David F. Webb and Ted Bloecher, HUMCAT: Catalogue of Humanoid Reports, case 1959-07, citing Dr Walter Buhler, SBEDV.

Donald Johnson indicates that on April 26, 1959, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Luis Da Silva had seen a red colored disc in the sky before he went to bed and when he awoke at midnight he felt a compulsion to go out into his garden, where he found a note telling him to return the next night at 1:30 a.m. He did so, and a circular UFO appeared at a low altitude, perhaps 100 meters. He felt paralyzed and unable to move. In a spiral a man descended from the UFO, but did not quite touch the ground. He wore a helmet and was clad in plastic looking clothing, with gloves that looked transparent like glass. He told Da Silva to return again on Thursday at 02:05 a.m. and then re-ascended in a spiral to his craft. [Ref. au1:] "ANOMALIES UNLIMITED" WEBSITE:

The website tells of messages allegedly written by alien and show this picture as being a message which is claimed to have been left by aliens in Sao Paulo, 1959.

Points to consider:

Here is a hardly credible story of repeated visits by extraterrestrials of the humman kind writing notes on bits of paper; very probably, Mr. Da Silva read the books of pseudo-contactees like Adamski or Bethurum, and just as many others did, he thought that he should also tell a sensational story of this kind.
