Cryptozoologist Loren Coleman indicated that he visited and interviewed the locals of the swampy area of Charles Mill Lake, Mansfield, Ohio, USA, in 1975.
He learned that in March 1959, Michael Lane, Wayne Armstrong and Dennis Patterson reported that they saw a seemingly armless 7-foot-tall humanoid with green eyes come out of the lake and leave tracks that resembled the footgear worn by skin divers.

[Ref. am1:] "AMERICANMONSTERS.COM":
The website indicates that Charles Mill Lake in Mansfield, Ohio, has a long list of fantastic, freshwater phenomenon, including a Mill Lake Monster that ranks near the top of the list for its sheer absurdity.
This "monster" was first witnessed in late March of 1959 by Michael Lane, Wayne Armstrong and Dennis Patterson, as it emerged from the lake.
It was described as being an "armless" humanoid, standing over 7-feet tall with luminous, green eyes.

The date of March 28, 1959 is not certain and could be March 1959 without precision of day, as indicated in the most primary source quoted by the later sources that add this precise day.
The eyes of the creature were green, but the most primary source by no means states that they were luminous. The most primary source indicates luminous green eyes for another later case in the same area, but not for this case.
Here is a case without reported commonplace explanation but it does not have the support of an investigation report, and crucial data such as the distance of observation or the layout of the ground traces are not available; it is not impossible that some confusion occurred. No UFO was seen, with the result that the case certainly belongs rather to cryptozoology than ufology.
