DECEMBER 17, 1956, CONASHAUGH, PENNSYLVANIA, USA, MRS MARIE CAROW:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

In Conashaugh, Pennsylvania, the USA, on December 17, 1956, at 09:00 p.m., Mrs. Marie Carow allegedly went outside after the fall of night with a 5-cells flashlight, and saw two small men, 1.30 and 1 meter tall, motionless on her back lawn.

They both were helmeted and wearing tight and comfortable suits of a scintillating silver material, and were of pale skin. The smallest was sticky, the tallest was thin.

Mrs. Carow is said to have flashed the beam of her flashlight on them during approximately 3 minutes, then run to tell her husband. When she came out again 15 minutes later, the figures were gone.

There is apparently no other information.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Conashaugh, Pennsylvania, on December 17, 1956, at 09:00 p.m., Mrs Marie Carow went out after dark with a 5-cell flashlight, and discovered 2 little men, 3.6, and 3 ft tall, standing motionless on her back lawn. Both wore helmets and snug fitting suits of glistening silvery material, and were of fair complexion; the shorter one was stocky, the taller one slender. Mrs Carow played the beam on them for about 3 minutes, then ran back to tell her husband. When she went out again 15 minutes later, they were gone.

Albert Rosales indicates that the sources are J. E. Myer and Dr Berthold Schwarz.

Points to consider:

The meager information and the absence of elements of investigation in the brief tale do not make it possible to determine if this was an hallucination, an invention, a prank played on the lady or a genuine visit of extraterrestrial or otherwordly beings.
