Spring 1956 or 1958, Beaulieu-les-Fontaines, Oise, France, Valère Beaumont:

Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

In his 2014 book about CE3s in France, author Julien Gonzalez indicates that in Beaulieu-les-Fontaines, in the Oise, in the Spring of 1956 or 1958, around 11:00 a.m., Valère Beaumont, 12 or 14 years old, was walking on a railway line, about 300 meters from his home, when he distinguished at a distance of about 800 meters two odd silhouettes of about 1, 20 m or 1.30 m high and dressed in kinds of green suits.

The witness advanced in their direction to better observe the scene, but seeing that the two beings were also advancing towards him, he fled and returned home. His now dead brother, who was at the same time in a field near a wood, would have heard a strange noise and then observed a saucer-shaped object that flew away.

Gonzalez indicates that the source is an investigation by Rémy Fauchereau - a local ufologist - conducted on February 4, 2008.

[Ref. jg1:] JULIEN GONZALEZ:

The author indicates that in Beaulieu-les-Fontaines, in the Oise, in the Spring of 1956 or 1958, around 11:00 a.m., Valère Beaumont, 12 or 14 years old, was walking on a railway line, about 300 meters from his home, when he distinguished at a distance of about 800 meters two odd silhouettes of about 1, 20 m or 1.30 m high and dressed in kinds of green suits.

The witness advanced in their direction to better observe the scene, but seeing that the two beings were also advancing towards him, he fled and returned home. His now dead brother, who was at the same time in a field near a wood, would have heard a strange noise and then observed a saucer-shaped object that flew away.

The author indicates that the source is an investigation by Rémy Fauchereau conducted on February 4, 2008.

Points to consider:

The investigation of Rémy Fauchereau is probably a direct communication to Julien Gonzalez; I did not find any other trace of it.

The witness was a child, and the case is told in 2008, 5 decades later.

The case seems most dubious to me, if only because of a very big problem: how could anyone think that at 800 meters distance, it is possible to give a size to characters, as precise as "1.20 or 1.30 meters"?. At a distance of more than 50 meters, such an evaluation is normally impossible.

One possibility is that these "beings" were also on the railway track, and that their "diving suits" were one-piece work clothes, they could be railway workers.

The saucer that would have been seen by the brother may have nothing to do with these characters. The information is so poor that I do not see how an explanation by extraterrestrials could be well assured.
