1955, SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, USA, EVELYN MCKEEVER:
Brief summary of the event and follow-up:
A UFO magazine sometimes around 2000 published a testimony by Mrs. Evelyn McKeever who was possibly a child when it occurred, who told that in San Francisco, California, in 1955, this late at night, she was in bed when she observed a beautiful female of medium height, with abundant blond hair and wearing a white Grecian style dress. The female walked through the closed door of the bedroom, crossed the room, and walked out through the opposite wall.
During that time, Mrs McKeever felt an odd sensation throughout her body, her heart beat violently and she felt shock waves passed through her.
Eventually she got up, looked out of the window and saw a large glowing orange cigar-shaped object maneuvering high over the area.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in San Francisco, California, in 1955, late at night, while lying on her bed Mrs. Evelyn McKeever observed a beautiful entity described as female of medium height, with abundant blond hair and wearing a white Grecian style dress. It walked through the closed door of the bedroom, crossed the room, and walked out through the opposite wall. At the time that the figure was visible, the witness felt an odd sensation throughout her body. Her heart beat violently and she felt shock waves passed through her. She got up and looked out the window and saw a large glowing orange cigar-shaped object maneuvering high over the area.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Evelyn McKeever, UFO Magazine Vol. 15, #1.
Points to consider:
This is probably a reader's letter to the magazine by the witness Mrs. McKeever, with no ufological investigation thereafter. The entity which crossed the room has hardly a real chance to be someone coming from another planet, it is a woman, wrapped in some "Greek" dress, probably meaning a dress of ancient Greece looks; this could have been a hypnagogic hallucination with sleep paralysis. The part of the report where Mrs. McKeever stands up and looks outside cannot be such an ordinary sleep phenomenon anymore, but the reported UFO seems "high", no angular size is indicated not any other information sufficient to eliminate some plane or meteor. This is typically the kind of observation which cannot be really understood without an investigation.
