Journalist Pablo Villarrubia Mauso of the Brazilian ufology magazine "Revista UFO", indicates that he heard from Fernando Da Silva Martins, that there is a testimony of the appearance of a gigantic extraterrestrial shipon the San Martinho Beach, in Bilene, Mozambique, 180 km in the north of Maputo, in middle of the 1950's.

Martins told him that a "cipaio", an indigenous policeman of old the Portuguese colonies, entrusted an episode that marked his life. Without being identified by name, the cipaio said that in the area, in the rainy season, luminous flying object went down from the sky, and men came out of them.

These men gathered samples of roots, potatoes, sand and plants, and came back again the next year. Decades ago, these landings were already observed by the ancestors of the current residents of the beach.

Brazilian journalist Pablo Villarrubia Mauso, member of the editors council of the Brazilian ufology magazine "Revista UFO", indicates that the appearance of humanoids coming out of UFOs seems to occur in Mozambique for a long time.

According to information he received from him Fernando Da Silva Martins, one testified of the appearance of a gigantic extraterrestrial ship on the beach of San Martinho de Bilene, 180 km in the north of Maputo, in the middle of the Fifties.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Sao Martinho de Bilene, Mozambique, in 1955, at night, several witnesses including indigenous personal and Portuguese colonials reported the landing of luminous oval-shaped objects in a local field. Several human like occupants wearing silvery luminous outfits would exit the crafts and collect soil, plant and other samples from the surrounding area. According to the source this episode was repeated on numerous occasions.

Points to consider:

San Martinho de Bilene is now called Bilene, and is situated between an inland semi-tidal lagoon and a fresh water system, the San Martinho Beach Club being a small touristic hotspot now.

The story is too much an anecdote to be reliable; it would nevertheless be interesting to ask the residents in order to verify if there are any such stories there, and what their details would be.
